Painted Lady Butterfly Wing Earrings

Lovely are these known small butterfly wing earrings.  They are made with repurposed wings of a Vanessa cardui, known as the Painted Lady or Cosmopolitan butterfly.  Their life span is short from15-29 days from egg to natural expiration.  It is colorful.withnochre, resdish brown, black, white and greens with the outter wing being much different than the inner.  Set on surgical steel ear wires and accented with faceted black crystal beads.

Cruelty free, natually expired

Handcrafted by me in my London Ontario Canada studio. Though my pieces are watertight, they are not 100% waterproof so care should be taken to not allow these to get wet.
