European Peacock Butterfly Wing Earrings, IO Butterfly Earrings

 
These real butterfly wing earrings are made with repurposed wings of an Aglais io, the European peacock, more commonly known simply as the peacock butterfly, is a colourful butterfly with colorful purple eyespots.  Found in Europe and as far as Japan.  Set on surgical steel ear wires and accented with creamy yellow glass  beads.

This specimen has been purchased from a licensed supplier in Ontario Canada.

Handcrafted by me in my London Ontario Canada studio. Though my pieces are watertight, they are not 100% waterproof so care should be taken to not allow these to get wet.
