Blue Morpho Didius, Real Butterfly Wing Statuette, Butterfly Wing Decor, Table Top Butterfly

Give the gift of nature, such as this beautiful blue morpho butterfly wing statuette.   This piece is made with a blue morpho didius species from Peru.   Set in glass and soldered with copper legs, body and frame.  I use unleaded jewelry solder alloy in all my work.  This statuette has an antique patina added to it then waxed and polished to a high shine.   The feet have balled ends to protect furniture surfaces.   

Measures 16 x 8 x 6 cm  

This piece comes with multiple levels of bubble wrap and boxed safely for shipping.

To avoid discoloring or molding of your precious wing, please be sure not to get your butterfly wet and to wipe any oils from skin off of the glass and silver alloy, with a soft dry cotton cloth.
